A Community of Women
UMW strives to follow Christ's teaching to do acts of love, justice, mercy and faith and to serve one another on an equal basis. A community emerges through worship, sharing, praying, studying, working and serving.
Knowing God
UMW members strive to know God and experience freedom through Jesus Christ through Bible studies, retreats and inspriational events. We each seek to find our own way to walk with God and search within ourselves for spiritual growth and understanding. Our desire to know and serve God is only a shadow of God's love and desire to know us and use us in service to others.
Creative and Supportive Community
Our Leadership Development program nurtures a creative and supportive community by directing members in a cohesive and coherent way to accomplish our goals and fulfull our purpose. Leadership Development programs and training are provided to women of all racial, ethnic, language, age and economic groups.
Expanding Concepts of Mission
We expand our concept of mission by working diligently on mission education, social action and advocacy, national ministries, international ministries and funding mission programs and projects.
